Tom McGrath

Tom McGrath is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of GoodfireAI, an AI interpretability research company dedicated to understanding and intentionally designing the next frontier of safe and powerful AI systems. Prior to founding GoodfireAI, he was a Research Scientist at DeepMind from 2019 to late 2023, where he contributed to the development of advanced AI interpretability techniques. Tom is also the CEO of iink, Corp., a financial technology company that streamlines payment processes for restoration professionals. He holds a degree from the University of Indiana and is recognized for his expertise in AI and machine learning.
