Symbiotic, a leading decentralized staking protocol, has successfully raised $29 million in a Series A funding round led by prominent investors including Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Aave, and Polygon. This investment will support the launch of its Universal Staking Framework, which aims to revolutionize blockchain coordination by enabling any blockchain to be secured and any asset to be utilized, thereby powering insurance protocols and DeFi products. The funding round brings Symbiotic's total funding to $34.8 million, following a previous seed round of $5.8 million co-led by Paradigm. The Universal Staking Framework is expected to enhance the interoperability and security of decentralized networks, making it a pivotal development in the blockchain ecosystem.
